Hi! I'm Kate Shash
Long story short, I am in the design industry since 2008. Since then, I have graduated from the British Higher School of Art and Design with a BA with Hons in Graphic Design, created a small handmade bookbinding company as well as a freelance design studio (where you are now), became a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers, worked as a chapter leader for Ladies, Wine and Design in Moscow, hosted a podcast, spoken at 20+ events in 5 cities and 2 countries, consulted more than 15 people and companies, written articles for T-J, and filmed courses about typography and Adobe InDesign. Oh yeah, I gave birth to a lovely daughter and immigrated to Cyprus in 2022 and to the UK in 2024.

Hour rate count is suitable for projects when you can’t predict the amount of work. It is also suitable for consultation and support projects (when every month you have some small amount of work according to your brand tasks, like social network designs)
