My little company with handmade sketchbooks

I love working with my hands. So in 2014 I decided to create a small company and sell my hand-crafted sketchbooks for designers, calligraphers and illustrators.

Details

Sketchbooks were made for designers at start. So usability was my main aim. All the sketchbooks are equipped with bookmark and pocket. I have different sizes of books, so it can fit in any bag. I also round the corners so the sketchbook is nice and smooth. My favourite part is to think of colours and to find a very tactile and nice paper for covers.
My materials are of very high quality: I am working with best paper supplies in Moscow, I buy threads in the best bookbinding store in London and my fabric tapes are coming from Germany.

Paper

I found paper that is good for such materials and instruments as watercolour, ink, brush pens, markers, ruling pens and calligraphic nibs. Together with School of Calligraphy U0026 and Studio of Calligraphy La-Graphos we tested tones of paper to find that only one.
After that I can say that my sketchbooks are universal: for all creative industries, for all the techniques and for all artists.

A couple of collections and commercial works I created these years.

Perfect planner

Set of tiny planners, iPhone size, with perforation and dates. Hard cover, black & white with strengthened binding.

Wooden book

Best-wishes-book for my friend's wedding with a wooden cover.

Alliance sketchbooks

Sketchbooks-notebooks for a consulting company: letterpress, silkscreen for cover, 2 pockets and dotted block.

Wedding phonebook for a company that organises events.

Shiny

In Vilnus I found awesome wrapping paper in white & black colours. I decided to make small sketchbooks with these paper.

Artist's Diary

Together with Gleb Soltsev we created the Artist's diary for his drawing courses

Notebooks

For each collection I choose ten colours and mix them with cover & coloured pages inside block.

Stripes

Hard case sketchbooks with coloured stripes. Small format 12x17 mm for every pocket with strengthened bound.

Hand Print Leaves

I love works of my friend Masha from Red Forest Ceramics and one day asked her to make her floral magic on my covers. 42 sketchbooks with totally unique leaves, that Masha printed on the covers by hand.
