During our Italian vacation this year I was collecting street numbers from Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome and Nettuno. Italians have a very sweet street number design: most of the numbers are unique, some are hand drawn, some are designed by government, I suppose. I really like the tradition of stone carving that is seen not only in house numbers but at most of the signs. Later I will prepare a more detailed material for letters. Maybe I will find some strength to prepare historical analysis. Anyway, stay tuned.
